Last summer at CHA, through a series of serendipitous events I met Rebecca Whittaker the DIY craft manager of Swarovski. We connected within minutes of meeting, kind of like soul sisters...on the same mission, with the same goals, (just a different approach), with the same passion for creativity....and the need to spread the excitement and inspiration. After a few deep(and very long conversations) she asked me to design for them...the bring the indulgent, luxurious line of swarovski into crafting and home decor in a more mainstream way....HELLO, no need to ask twice! I am there! I am sooooo there....can you say, rhinestones every where? i just love feeling them running through my fingers...i could play with them for hours!!!
I feel as if i have come full circle...years ago i designed jewlery for Nordstroms, and several boutiques in the so cal, az,and co. I used hundreds of thousands of swarovski rhinestones. After some serious health issues, and being in bed for six months i had to give jewlery up......but now.....here i am back in the land of sparkle!

I'm so looking forward to seeing what you are going to create! I'm all the way from down under, and I was approached by a Swarovski distributor. They were wanting to sell their range of crystals for the craft market, but they just weren't at that 'ready to buy' stage for the general craft consumer. I was going to have to buy a ton of them, and then they were in huge quantities for my customers to buy. So I declined the product range, but I was so disappointed because they are so sparkly. So I can't wait to see what you're going to do with them for us shop owners.

Congrats! Can't wait to see what you do with them. I love bling and could use it all day. Glad to hear that you overcame your illness, as someone who is in the same situation, my artwork is the one thing that keeps me going. Even if I have to be creative when doing things while laying down!

So cool! Our Feature theme at Peek this weekend was all about the sparkle and shine too - so much fun to work with rhinestones and glitter again - my girls loved the pages I did for it. I can't wait to see what you design for Swarovski!

I Love bling and sparkle!!! I use rhinestones on almost every card I make. Just love them, I have tons. I love those flower ones, too cute!!! Sparkle just adds that extra something to creations.
